Weather
The weather in the Auvergne is surprisingly good. We are geographically in the South of France and the Loire valley 100km to the north is usually understood to be the boundary between the North and the South of France. As such the summers are warm with lots of warm summer evenings and it can get particularly hot (but don't worry the old buildings keep nice and cool if you keep the shutters and doors shut and you can always cool off in the pool). In the winter it can get cold but being as far South as we are the days quickly warm up when the sun comes out. Below are a couple of graphs showing the average max and min temperatures and the average rainfall and numbers of days of rain you can expect when you come on holiday. But, rain or shine, cold or hot, snow or sun we know you will find a stay at Le Frelut a memorable one.
