Welcome to Le Frelut, our home, situated in the heart of the celebrated Bocage Bourbonnais once home of the Bourbon kings (and still home to its Prince). This is a perfect place to come and spend a night, a week or more relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.With over 400km of paths and tracks, you can cycle, walk or ride horses to your heart's content or just lounge lazily by the pool reading a book listening to the occasional nicker or neigh of a horse, or lulled by the local nightingales. Alternatively, if you are feeling more active, you can play tennis on the private tennis court. The centre of the village is just 2 minute's easy walk away where there is a cafe which sells provisions as well as providing the usual cafe services. You can also surf the net if you really cannot do without it. Slightly further afield in the village is a pond where you can fish (permits are available from the cafe). The pretty, small towns of St Menoux, Souvigny and Bourbon L'Archambault are all within 10 minutes' drive. However long you stay, like us, we know you'll want to come back for more.
